Lets talk living rooms. Whether you have a small or large space, one thing is for certain - you absolutely need a good couch. Because the living room is typically one of the most used rooms in every home, be prepared to spend a little more for something that will stand the test of time.

I've carefully selected some beautiful quality couches for you to consider. When purchasing a couch, it is important to consider what is important to you.

1. Couch

With kids and pets, you may want a couch that is easy to clean. If you love the esthetic of a white or cream colored couch, but want one that is family friendly, consider one with removable cushion covers. Having removable cushion covers is a game changer for easy cleaning!

I think we can all agree, the bed is probably the most important furniture piece you'll purchase for your bedroom. We bought this upholstered bed from Wayfair and we absolutely love it!

This look is great if you're going for a minimalistic, Scandinavian or bohemian look in your bedroom.

2. Chairs (comfy seating area)

I'm a firm believer if you have the space in your bedroom, you should add a comfy seating area. We love having one in our master bedroom because its just another cozy option where we can cuddle up other than the bed. Here's some beautiful chair options for your bedroom seating nook.

3. Lighting

Good lighting is an amazing way to transform any space. In a bedroom, I recommend lamps on your bedside tables if they're on the larger side. If they're small bedside tables, a wall sconce is a wonderful alternative that will save you space.

I know we all have a space in our home thats on the smaller side. Whether that is a foyer, a hallway, or a small nook in a bedroom, sometimes they can be challenging to decorate. These spaces can be decorated so that they are both functional and beautiful. The key is to select home decor furniture that does both!

1.Hallway Table

For entryways or hallways, I love the combination of a console table, baskets and a mirror. You can use a rectangular mirror like the one in this picture, but recently I've been loving circular or arched mirrors above these types of tables.

I love these wooden tables because they are so functional and beautiful at the same time. Paired with a mirror and some baskets either underneath or off to the side, this table is a great way to decorate your hallway.

Recently I've been loving large circular mirrors, especially over these hallway vignettes. The curved organic shape of the mirror balances out all the square angles of a hallway space and that of the table.

I love these natural seagrass baskets. The curved angles help soften up any square space and they braided grass weave is s beautiful on them. Another place I love to shop for baskets is Home Goods. They have consistently had a wonderful selection of basket sizes and styles at a reasonable price.

Another great home decor furniture idea for a small space is a desk! Yes, thats right! Turn any corner of your house into a productive work space with a simple desk, chair and mirror or picture above the desk.

Bamboo Writing Desk

Choose a simple desk design for your corner or small nook. I love a wooden desk because it pairs perfectly with either black mirror, or a piece of artwork and some sort of upholstered chair.

Okay. Now that you have a desk, you need a chair to go along with it! I recommend choosing a swivel chair or some sort of upholstered chair to pair with your wooden desk. The different textures of each furniture piece balance each other and creates depth in the space. Finally, add a statement piece of artwork/mirror above the desk and you have yourself a beautiful corner!

I'm obsessed with these barrel chairs as you can tell. I love that they swivel, which is a great feature to pair with a desk. And the boucle material add high end cozy element to any space.

Budget Friendly Chair Cover

If you have a spare chair around the house, buy a chair cover like this. Its definitely an easy and cost effective way to elevate any chair for that high end look.

3. Bench

Okay the last home decor furniture piece for small spaces is a bench! Benches are great for entryways as well as the console idea I mentioned earlier. And a bench is incredibly practical. When entering or leaving the house, they give you a place to sit down to put shoes on and off.
