Rugs

Check out this rug! How gorgeous is it!? I think I’ll be purchasing it for my living room once we have our first floor renovated. I’ve bought and used it in one of my Air BnB design projects and i’ve been obsessed ever since.

Lamps

Every good room design needs a beautiful lamp. This standing lamp caught my attention because its rattan shade. Its the perfect way to add that extra textural element to a space as well as being a great transitional element to add warmth to your space for these fall days.

Swivel Chair

Every living room, bedroom or office needs one of these swivel chairs! This chair features such a timeless style that can be paired with just about anything. It $250 on amazon which is super affordable too!

Decor Accessories

These accessories are perfect for adding a rustic and vintage element to any room! I’m a huge fan of brass accents and this hammered brass bowl does not disappoint. The terracotta vase can be filled with real or artificial flower to add some earthy warmth to your space. Both of these look like authentic vintage pieces and are just plain gorgeous.

Okay I’m sure we can all agree how versatile a stool can be in a home. They can be used as a plant holder, a candle holder, a small side table or even bedside table. They add a beautiful textural element too the space when you buy a rustic stool because of the aged wood. This stool on amazon is $52 and the finish “Barnwood” is just gorgeous.

Lighting Fixtures

Want an easy way to transform your space? Change your lighting fixture! My rule when it comes to lighting fixtures is go big or go home. When shopping on Amazon, it can be deceiving when looking at pictures. All the fixtures on there look big and look like a statement piece, but make sure you check dimensions before purchasing to make sure it will be large enough. Loving this brass fixture – so timeless and versatile. It would be lovely in a living room, dining room or even bedroom!

Coffee Table Books

Lets talk books! I absolutely LOVE adding books as an element into just about every space. You can use them to decorate open shelving, add to a coffee table for height, or even to a nightstand for a layering effect. They are wonderful for creating levels in styling. One thing to keep in mind when adding books as a styling element to your space is to take into account the book cover color. – now thats a tongue twister!

The color of the color should flow well with the space. My favorite books are vintage books with leather covers but when thats not an option, look for books that have beautiful covers! I love those with gold embellished titles, its all about the details for me! Goodwill is a great place to look but thought I’d link these here for you for a more modern option that look great in any space because of their neutral colors.
