1. Pick Out A Good Bedroom Mattress

I know it sounds pretty obvious, but I'll say it anyways! Invest in a good mattress. Our very first Airbnb we set up, we decided to invest in a good mattress from Costco and I cant count the number of people who have asked what kind of mattress it is. We've had guests extend their stay and even return customers because of how comfortable the bed was!

Here's the exact mattress we purchased from Costco! I am not an affiliate for Costco, but just sharing with you whats worked for us! Also Costco has a great return policy so if something were to ever happen to your mattress, they've got you covered!

2. Bedroom Overhead Lighting

Okay, I think we all can agree that a good overhead chandelier will completely transform a bedroom. And I love chandeliers that cast light like this one. Adding a good chandelier is one of the best ways you can add mood to your Airbnb bedroom without doing any decorating!

3. Bedroom Plants for Your Airbnb

One way to make your Airbnb Bedroom pop, especially on picture, is to add a little greenery. Now this doesnt go all all out and make your room a botanical garden, but a little pop of green makes any space feel alive.

I recommend adding faux plants due to the fact that guests don't always know how to take care of them. If you have a guest stay for more than a week, its very likely you may see your plant or plants go downhill pretty fast. Add A Hanging Plant

Macrame plant hangers have become so popular, and rightly so! they're adorable! Hanging plants are a way to fill upper wall space and add hight layers to your space.

Add a Succulent To Your Bedside Table

Succulents are the easiest way to dress up a bedside table. The touch of green helps brighten up the space and adds a different textural element. Its always a good idea to bring a little bit of nature indoors! Sit the succulent on some book or next to an alarm clock or small decorative bowl for personal items and you've got yourself an adorable nightstand!

Add a Faux Plant in a Basket or Potter

Want to add a statement to your bedroom? Add a larger faux plant either in a potter or a basket. This is a great way to fill upper wall space and again, is a wonderful way to bring a little bit of life into the bedroom!

Every guests wants a full length mirror in their bedroom and there's two reasons why. First, it's extremely helpful when getting ready in the morning. And second, large mirrors have a way of making a statement in a bedroom.

With any place you list on Airbnb, every inch matters. Your goal should always be to create a gorgeous, practical and memorable space your guests can't help but book! Adding a full length mirror to your bedroom is one way you can reach that goal!

5. Pillows & Throws

Creating a memorable bedroom is all abut creating a vibe. One easy way to add an extra level of cozy is by layering some decorative pillows and cozy throws to the bed. For a simple and affordable look, get a decorative lumbar pillow like this! Target is a great place for beautiful affordable lumbar pillows. You can also layer varying sizes of square pillows with either a small lumbar or circular pillow.

The key in picking out the right knit throw is to select something with a different texture or weave than what you already have on your bed.  In other words, if your decorative pillow covers are made from a chunky knit fabric, maybe consider a fleece throw for the bed. The goal here is to use your throw as another way to add a different textural element too the space!
