As some of you know, we recently completed the renovation of our 2nd floor. I have been loving the process of moving everything up, buying furniture and getting organized in the new space. Having all the extra space has been SO nice!
As I’ve been moving things up, I’ve been rethinking everything – especially how I organize.
For a very long time, my perfumes, hair bands, jewelry, watches, and a few pictures of me and Jolziah were crammed onto a tiny dresser. Here’s a picture of our cringeworthy dresser set up, with everything EVERYWHERE.

Partly because of the space in that room, but more so because I never decided to think creatively about how I wanted to display/organize things. In our old bedroom, I had placed all of our perfumes and colognes in one old farmhouse looking tray, but because it was so small, Jolziah’s cologne always ended up in another spot in the house. Obviously a small tray was not a very effective organizing solution.
Moving everything up to our 2nd floor has definitely inspired me too think differently and I knew I had to come up with an alternative for the way I organized or rather didn’t organize my perfumes. I searched the internet and found this cute lazy susan and thought it was the perfect solution! The two main things I considered was I no longer wanted them crammed and running out of space, and I wanted the ability to see them all and the lazy susan was perfect for both!
My plan was to place the perfumes in between two sets of acrylic organizer drawers and I wanted the lazy susan holding them to fill/use all the space if that makes sense! There were a few other models I found that I thought were a bit more sleek and modern looking but this was the only one I found that was 12″ across. Most others were 9″ across and I knew I needed those extra 3 inches because I was planning on displaying both Jolziah and I’s perfume/cologne bottles.

I was super excited about this lazy susan because it has an adjustable 2nd tier you can make as tall or just about as low as you want. I wanted something adjustable because some of my body sprays were taller and I wanted them to be able to fit on the 1st shelf.
Andddd here’s the transformation!
Oh and if you’re wondering, putting together this lazy susan was literally a breeze. All I had to do was screw together the middle post to the bottom and top pieces and I was good to go!
I’m also linking some other perfume/cologne organizers for some options for you guys! Happy organizing!!
